TOOTH HARMONICS IN THE VIBRATION DIAGNOSTICS OF GEAR TOOTH WEAR IN A GAS TURBINE ENGINE

Sundukov A.E., Shakhmatov E.V.

Abstract

Vibration diagnostics in the most effective non-destructive method for testing technical condition of rotor machines. A widely used diagnostic indicator of gear defects is the intensity of the n-dimensional vector from a series of tooth harmonics. For planetary gearboxes of aircraft engines, the higher harmonics intensity is often commensurate with the vibration noise intensity, which reduces the effectiveness of its application. On the example of the tooth flank wear in NK-12 engine differential gearbox, we have demonstrated the possibility of diagnosing this defect based on the intensity of tooth subharmonics.

EVALUTION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF A SET OF MEASURES TO REDUCE THE OWN VIBROACOUSTIC NOISE OF A PIPELINE TEST STAND

Berestovitsky E.G., Gladilin Y.A., Frantov А.А., Vidyaskina А.N.

Abstract

The main tool for assessing the quality of elements of hydraulic systems is a test bench that simulates the modes of operation of the equipment. The requirements for the stands are becoming more stringent in accordance with the promising directions in the development of hydraulic systems and elements of their components. To perform studies of the vibroacoustic characteristics of products, the stand must have low levels of intrinsic noise of these parameters. On the example of a specialized pipeline, pump measuring stand, a number of technical solutions are given that make it possible to deal with sources of intrinsic noise in the measuring section. The paper provides computational justifications for the effectiveness of the proposed technical solutions. A complex of experimental studies is being carried out, confirming the set parameters for reducing their own vibroacoustic bench noise. The operating modes of bench equipment are determined to ensure maximum reliability of the results of tests of elements of hydraulic systems. The ways of further development of the material and technical base of the pipeline, pump measuring stand are outlined.

INVESTIGATION OF SCHEMES FOR HYDRODYNAMIC CLEANING OF UNITS OF HYDRO-FUEL SYSTEMS

Reshetov V.M.

Abstract

The paper considers the structure of stands for hydrodynamic cleaning of units in order to ensure optimal cleaning parameters and protection of the pumping station, the features of parallel and series connection of a source of fluid oscillations when creating a pulsating pressure and flow in the cavity of the cleaned hydraulic unit. When calculating the modes of hydrodynamic cleaning of the cavities of the unit in resonant modes, electrodynamic analogies are used. The conducted experimental studies have confirmed the high efficiency of the purification process.

MULTI-CYCLIC FATIGUE OF MACHINES PARTS PREDICTION AFTER SUPERFICIAL PLASTIC DEFORMING

Pavlov V.F., Vakulyuk V.S., Sazanov V.P., Semenova O.Y., Churikov D.S.

Abstract

The evaluation of compressive residual stresses caused by pneumo- shot blasting and rolling influence on the endurance limit of specimens made of steel 20 of 25 mm diameter with circular cuts of a semicircular profile of various radiuses under bending has been examined. It’s been stated that it’s more reasonable to use the average integral residual stresses criterion for an endurance limit prediction of surface hardened specimens made of steel 20 with concentrators like cuts and pressurized hub. The criterion of axial residual stresses on a dangerous section surface of specimens with stress concentrators can’t be used because the corresponding coefficient taking into account the influence of this criterion on an endurance limit has the essential dispersion. It’s been shown that in order to maintain the hardening effect on cut’s depth rising one should raise the layer with compressive residual stresses depth of a smooth specimen.

DEPARTMENT OF AUTOMATIC SYSTEMS OF POWER PLANTS OF SAMARA UNIVERSITY - FROM FOUNDERS TO THE PRESENT DAYS. TO THE FORTY ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEPARTMENT

Bystrov N.D.

Abstract

Created in 1982, the Department of Automatic Power Plant Systems by the efforts of Professor Shorin Vladimir Pavlovich, now a full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, has now turned into a powerful educational and scientific center, in which the educational process is combined with significant scientific research, not only bachelors, masters, specialists are trained, but also highly qualified personnel. In 2010, the leadership of the department passed to Professor Shakhmatov Evgeny Vladimirovich, now an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and since 2019 the scientific director of Samara University. The department has a powerful educational laboratory and research base. For forty years, 62 candidates of technical sciences and 18 doctors of technical sciences have been trained. Teachers of the department actively participate in scientific conferences and publish articles in scientific journals. At the initiative of the department, since 2012, six scientific conferences on the dynamics and vibration acoustics of machines with international participation have been held. The scientific journal "Dynamics and Vibroacoustics" was created. Intensive career guidance work is being carried out with applicants and schoolchildren. The department forms new educational programs and modernizes curricula. Thus, the activities of the department make it possible to train young personnel not only for the needs of the Samara region, but also for scientific centers and enterprises of the country as a whole.
