Abstract

One of the main problems of pneumatic systems has been and remains an increased noise level, the side result of which is vibrations. Acoustic and mechanical processes negatively affect personnel, the environment and pipeline systems. Silencers of various designs are used to reduce the negative effects. The article presents an upgraded high-pressure pneumatic silencer, as well as the initial tests carried out. As a result, the acoustic efficiency of 41.2 dBS and 44 dBA was obtained.
